My logo on the guest page looks a bit squished because my logo picture is bigger in height then in width or a rectangle accompanied by text. So it makes my logo picture looks squished. Some time ago I was told I could increase the border height or frame height or create empty white space so that my logo would not looked squished. Could someone explain how to do this?

Thank you!

Replying a bit after hours, but I would assume you could do this by modifying the CSS. Give me a few days, but I'll see if I can figure out exact which element needs modifying.

Hey Scott! Thanks for working over time. Yeah modifying the CSS sounds right. I'll dig into it as well over the weekend and see if I can't find it but I'll verify it with you before I change anything. Let me know if you find it.

I am interested in this as well... please post when you discover how do it.

Thanks,
Mark

There may be an easier way of doing this (or something cleaner), but the following seems to work. As always, make sure you have an up-to-date backup of your install before attempting any customizations like this. In Base.css, I made the following two modifications:

Code:

#outerPanel #headerPanel
{
	height:100px;
	/*height: 43px;*/
	border-bottom-width: 3px;
	color: $headerTextColor;
	background-color: $headerBackgroundColor;
	@include display-flex;
}

Code:

#outerPanel #middlePanel
{
	top: 100px;
	/*top: 43px;*/
	bottom: 0px;
	@include overflow-auto;
}

Basically I commented out the original values and set the headerPanel to 100px in height and the middlePanel to start 100px down. It should be noted, though, that this stretched out the icon and logo images, but that may be what you're trying to do.

Thanks for that information Scott. Unfortunately when I modify it like you say it cuts off some of the wording and the quality of the logo gets all fuzzy. I am sure I could keep changing the height and width size until it all fit but something tells me it will still look out of focus when blowing it up. Lets try this. What is the maximum dimensions or recommended dimensions for the logo? I will crop my logo according and see how it looks. Maybe I can make it work.

If you don't want to stretch the logo, you can change #outerPanel #headerPanel #logoPanel #logoIcon to have background-size: auto 100%; and background-repeat: no-repeat; like the logoImage.

Yeah, you can create a custom theme.

Thanks! This works, but with this code a new problem arises: when i shrink my window the navbar turns into a button. Unfortunately nothing happens when I push the button. Any idea on that?

Is that button not one of the buttons that's normally on the navbar?
