Hi There

I recently purchased SC, to convert from LMI. I have a Datacentre with tonnes of bandwidth, and have the server running in an ubuntu VM which has tonnes of resources.

Version: 5.2.8724.5567

Half of the connections work fine, and when it works, its amazing.
However some connections: take up to 45 seconds to register keystrokes and refresh the screen.

Yes disabling hardware acceleration fixes it...
and
Yes blanking the end user screen fixes it.


Reducing the Quality has no effect,
Its not a bandwidth issue...


I'm wanting to know if there is anything else I can do?!


This is very frustrating, is there anything else i can do here?
We wont be turning off hardware acceleration on 2000 PC's and we cant use it with a blanked screen, as we are a support company.

Never had these problems with LMI as it installs its own display driver... :-s

Any help would be appreciated.

It should be rare. It's just one Matrox display driver that has issues, only with windows 2008/7 and below, and usually only seen on servers.

For a server not dependent on graphics, I feel like recommending the windows standard vga driver is good practice. Do you really want your server operations dependent on an apparently lousy vendor-supplied driver anyway?

Have you encountered this issue often?
