Hey Everyone! I don't know if it is just me and a bad installation, but I have a small Debian host with ScreenConnect server on it that will not let me change the Mail settings. I browse to the Admin page, and click "Mail" and the whole instance crashes until I "service screenconnect restart".

Any thoughts? Everything else appears to work as expected.

Thanks!
Jordan

..so I thought I was out of the water, but not yet lol.

I have my server hosted with DigitalOcean, it is a Debian box. I cannot for the life of me get e-mail working. I followed through the help pages and tried via SSL and without, no go. Is there something else I need to have setup on this server? It is currently very bare-bones.

With the settings configured manually in the "web.config" file, can I still send a test e-mail from the admin page? If so what option would I choose to send with?

Thanks again,
Jordan

Again, somehow I resolved this haha! For anyone else who might be in my boat, I changed the web.config settings for e-mail to match my e-mail account, and used a non-ssl port with the ssl key set to false.

In the Administration--> mail panel: I set it to "send from server through smtp relay server" with the same SMTP server set here as I had configured in web.config. The service restarted and all of a sudden the e-mails started coming in :)

Thanks for reading,
Jordan
