When connecting from a Win 8.1 Admin screen to a Guest running various flavors of iOS 8.x, both the Admin and the iOS screens are blank.

Admin is Win 8.1
Guest is iOS 8.1.3 and 5.2, iPhone 5 and 6.
Host is 5.1.8341.5506

Thanks,

Noel

Just to be clear, are you trying to remotely control an iOS device from your PC?

That is correct. When trying to remotely control an iOS device both my admin ScreenConnect session and the iOS device displays a blank screen.

Thanks,

Noel

Ah, thanks for clarifying that. Due to restrictions in place from Apple, it is not currently possible for any application to remotely control an iOS device.

You can rest assured that if they ever lift this restriction, we will do our best to add the functionality ASAP.

Bit more info on that here.

I read that in reverse and assumed he was referring to trying to blank the screen on a Win8 machine. Good catch.

I do agree that IOS control would be awesome, but unfortunately not possible.
