If you're on a Linux server and going the reverse proxy route (here's my incomplete journey thus far) to get SSL on your ScreenConnect web front, be sure to install the accompanying Certificate Authority Bundle along with your SSL certificate. CPanel says it's optional, but if you want your Java applet to not complain, then it's required. I didn't receive any other certificate errors from any other part of ScreenConnect until I tried running the Java applet. The issue was repaired when I reinstalled the certificate with the accompanying CA bundle.

Not going to reverse proxy, but would like my site protected by SSL cert.

Jordan,

I would like to secure my site as well. Do you have a step by step guild on how to get an SSL cert installed to work with screenconnect? I am currently using linux as the server.

Thank you,

Josh

There's a pretty good guide for installing a certificate on Linux here: http://help.screenconnec...certificate_installation

You can also use the Configurator tool in that page to create a tarball on a Windows machine and then move the files to the ScreenConnect server.
