Some of the tools I use on client machines reveal highly sensitive information like....

Nirsoft tools:

Netpass64
mailpv
WebBrowserPassView

My concern was that if these tools were left behind others could potentially gain access to confidential information. Not all companies restrict their users so I created a batch file that I run at the end of a session.

DelTempTools.bat

cd "c:\users\%username%\Documents\Your Company Name\Files"
del *.* /Q

Just replace Your Company Name with the directory which is created on client machines.

Running this removes all the tools that were temporarily downloaded to the client machine.

If anyone has a better solution please respond! :-)

I was in the same boat as we have several tech tools ($$) that the EULA states must be removed when service is complete.
I found your solution through Google and decided to throw this together real quick:

Cleanup.bat
Code:
@echo off
if not exist *.* (
echo This directory contains no files.
) else (
   echo This directory contains the following files:
   echo.
   dir /b *.*
   )
echo.
echo Press any Key to delete these files; Close this window now to keep them.
echo.
pause
del *.* /q

Seems to work a treat. Hope other find it helpful.

Thanks for the request and the .bat. I have added this one before but I will make sure and get in the +1's.

Has this been added directly to sc? If so how do I enable it?

Thanks,

You don't have to update the folder path manually
just use batch file with this
"
del *.* /Q
"
It will remove all files at the folder it is located
