Actually we are testing Screenconnect.
I'm also testing the Guest Session Starter extension.
While I do this I found out that when I call

Elsinore.Screenconnect.WindowsClient.exe "y=Guest&h=URL&p=PORT&s=SESSION_ID&k=ASYM_KEY&i=NAMME"

I am directly connected to the session.
The only "problem" I have is that I see no trayicon and no controlpanel.

Is there another switch to make the visible ?
Are there any points why we should not deliver the needed files to customers and call this like above ?
With this way there were no download needed when starting a session.

Found the problem. If I copy the Ressourcefiles in the folder everything is fine.
And with the right params it works also with the Elsinore.Screenconnect.ClientService.EXE

So I will expand my question.
Would it be any problem to deliver a folder to our customers which contains this files:

- Client.en-US.resources
- Client.resources
- Elsinore.ScreenConnect.Client.dll
- Elsinore.ScreenConnect.ClientService.exe
- Elsinore.ScreenConnect.Core.dll
- Elsinore.ScreenConnect.Windows.dll
- Elsinore.ScreenConnect.WindowsClient.exe

If I call

Elsinore.Screenconnect.ClientService.EXE "y=Guest&h=URL&p=PORT&s=SESSION_ID&k=ASSYMKEY&i=NAME" "1" "12"

I am directly connected.
So are there any technical points that say "don't do this" ?
What does the lest 2 params mean, "1" and "12".
Without this the EXE doesn't start.

Yeah, that seems like a valid way to start the client.

The 1 is the Windows session id, and the 12 is a bitmask of these:
Code:
public enum ClientServiceActions
	{
		SignalStop = 1,
		EnsureUninstalled = 2,
		EnsureInstalled = 4,
		EnsuredStarted = 8,
		Run = 16,
	}

(so EnsureInstalled|EnsuredStarted)

Thanks for the answer.
This would be a great way for us to deploy it to our customers.
