Hey guys,

Not sure if triggers are the right place for this, but I want to have Screen Connect disconnect inactive access sessions. So if no technician has used a session for 30 minutes, disconnect them.

I would also like to log all technicians out of Screen Connect after 8 hours of inactivity.

Thanks

Thank you for the post I will do my best to help.

1. There is not an automated way of disconnecting technicians from sessions based on time of inactivity today. There have been other similar requests, related to this or other technician related activities that we are currently reviewing. I will add your +1 to this request.

2. You can now with 4.4 disconnect techs from your ScreenConnect installation after X amount of idle time. If you go to web.config you will see these settings at that top. The ReissueInteralSeconds will kick them out after certain amount of time. I believe this can get as short as 3-4 minutes.

<appSettings>
<add key="MaxLongestTicketReissueIntervalSeconds" value="86400" />
<add key="MinAuthenticationFactorCount" value="0" />
<add key="RestrictToIPs" value="" />
<add key="BlockIPs" value="" />
</appSettings>
</location>

<add key="MinAuthenticationFactorCount" value="0" />
<add key="RestrictToIPs" value="" />
<add key="BlockIPs" value="" />
</appSettings>
