Hi all! Back again with a few more questions.

I am from a company looking to use this as a LMI replacement and am testing using this but have some more questions as well.

1) Does SC have 2lvl security like lmi where there are logins required at the Console level as well as the PC level?

2) Can anyone give me an idea of bandwidth usage for SC? If not, we would like to know how SC connects; is the whole connection routed through the server, or is the connection between the 2 initating PC's? We are looking at using this for 100-300 users for now

EDIT: to clarify; i did some research on previous posts saying multiple people have done this with hundreds of users; but this will be done on a server hosting other applications most likely so we would like an idea of its usage or how it works and how much it will affect the site

I believe Jeff answered your first question here: http://forum.screenconne...l-address.aspx#post15141

As far as estimating bandwidth usage, it's very difficult to give a good figure just because the number of factors involved. Typically, I'd say that the average usage ranges anywhere from 10-100kbps for a session, but even that window can vary based upon the session itself. The 'keep-alive' signal from unattended clients is virtually nothing in terms of bandwidth.
