Would be nice to be able to keep a central toolbox repository on our file server and just put a shortcut to it in the custom toolbox folder. Right now if you do this it just creates a foldername.lnk file and you cannot go deeper in the folder.

LNK are shell shortcuts.

Try symbolic links instead:

Code:
C:\Users\jmorgan\Documents\ScreenConnect>mklink /d Backups U:\Backups
symbolic link created for Backups <<===>> U:\Backups


And the toolbox will traverse it. It took a bit of research to find this. And I still can't figure out what's going on with Windows 7/Vista in my user profile directory!

LNKs actually can be useful to transfer and run on the remote machine. Say if you want to launch a directory on the other machine.

Or if you're really bold, delete your Document\ScreenConnect directory and create it as a symbolic link.
