I'm evaluating ConnectWise Control for the company I work for and since our trial account converted to a free license the Security settings page completely disappeared from the Admin page. Is this normal? I would expect to be able to manage settings even with a free account.

Thanks,
thegee

The Free license is intended only for a single user so I believe we've disabled the ability to create additional Host accounts.

You can still make changes to the Cloud Account Administer account from cloud.screenconnect.com

I am unable to get into the security settings as well. I had changed a setting to require consent to control a person's computer, but now I can't find that setting to turn it off. Any suggestions?

Likewise, The Security Settings have disappeared and these are "Critical" as I have already created a User and and permissions which have carried across to the Free version. I need to change these.
ALSO: If the Free version offers "2 support guests", how are we meant to be able to create & manage these.
For Security Reasons: this feature needs to be made available in the Free version especially for those of us that have adjusted original settings.
Looking forward to a solution.

Free accounts do not have access to modify Technician User Security settings, this is intended behavior. Guest's refer to the remote machines that connect into the server for a session, not the users who are able to login and connect into remote machines.

All accounts slowly accrue Evaluation days which can be used for the Evaluation license. I believe you can swap back to the Eval license from cloud.screenconnect.com and make changes.

Ah I see and good to know one can Revert back to change settings. I will test.

I will however ask, if the "guests" relate to Remote Machines, what then does the 3 Access Agents represent?

Free Accounts Include: 1 concurrent; 2 support guests; 3 access agents

@msd1405 Where exactly are you seeing that list of capabilities?

Checking on the pricing page here, I'm not seeing the same information so I'd just like to be certain.
