I am a newbie to the free service. Is there some way I can set up either a password for the remote PC OR some form of two level authentication so that there is a second layer of security when I log on to remote?

Yes, but I was looking for something that would work at the remote end.

Using the app.config file you can specify it so a remote machine automatically locks upon a Host's connection into it, thus requiring the Host to enter the password. The setting is either SupportLockMachineOnConnect or AccessLockMachineOnConnect depending upon to which session type you want the action to apply. There's more information on how to edit the app.config on our KB, specifically here. |
