Is there a way to create a user that has access to computers, but can only view in the remote session without control?

I found an old forum post, but it sends me to a dead link.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I think you can accomplish this by using the Get Host Pass feature. Right Click a session, select Get Host Pass. When the menu window is displayed, select the permissions drop down and select view-only.

Thanks,
Chris

@chriscamp is correct, you can use the Host Pass to generate a link which can be used to join a specific session with View Only permissions.

With that said, the dead link to which @jlasserre referred can be found here.

It requires adding a new entry to the Role.xml file directly so this feature is only available for ConnectWise Control On Premise servers.

Thanks for the replies.

@scott, that link worked! Exactly what I was looking for, I've made the adjustments and now just waiting for a window to restart the services.
