I am trying to setup 2FA and set the SecurityPanel.PasswordQuestionVisible to true in the Appearance settings, but now I cannot find my list of users. We are using Active directory with an on premise setup. When I go to Security and try to lookup users it cannot find any. Is it possible that SC lost connection to Active Directory? I am not really sure where to go from here.

Thanks in advance!

If you are using the Windows Active Directory for your user source then it pulls the 2FA identification key from the object's description by default (seen here).

This means that if you want users who login via their AD credentials to fulfill a second factor of authentication you would set their Description field to the required value as specified above.
