I know there is a way to change the default path of a file or folder when transferring data. For example right now it is: C:\Users\Username\Documents\ConnectWiseControl\Files. How can I change "ConnectWiseControl" to my company name? I looked through the Cloud Admin settings but not sure if it is because I have a free account. Thanks.

So normally you would modify the Client Resource 'ApplicationTitle' to change the name of the application as it appears within that specific path.

With that said, the ability to modify Resources is not available for free accounts.

Scott, is there a way to change the root path? (I'm on-premises) IE, rather than %userprofile%\Documents\ClientName\temp\ to say, C:\ClientName\temp\, or even something in the %ProgramData% path?
There have been several times I've had to go in and manually re-run something sent from the toolbox, and I don't like opening the user's Documents folder.

@SoCo_Systems at this time no, items executed from the Toolbox always reside in that Temp directory you mentioned. There are several issues registered to change this behavior within the UserEcho, such as this one or here

Thanks for the links. Unfortunately it's an issue that has been discussed for a very long time, I had hoped I had just missed an announced change.
