In a nutshell, users spend too long sitting there reading all the nonsense (to them) at the bottom of that screen before they start to type. The chat box should be only a chat box, not a multipurpose informational window. I'm not saying get rid of that area entirely, just move it someplace else and leave the chat window pure. If you would like to see it simplified for your users' sakes, upvote the feature request above, thanks.

You should be able to edit the app config with the config editor extension and disable "Status" in SupportAccessGuestControlPanelIDs or if you are modifying the app config directly, the default value in SupportAccessGuestControlPanelIDs should be 0x0000001104000000 and if you change it to 0x0000000104000000 it will disable that status bar.
