So the company I work for has remote support that has Screenconnect to connect to our computers. Is it possible for us to get the program, separate from them and have two possible connections to the pc at once? Does this make sense? Not neccesarily at the same time, just two running in the background, with either of us able to connect? We don't want to fully share the same screen connect account, as they have clients from other businesses we don't want to connect to.

Yes, you can have two clients from two different servers running/installed on the same remote machine. They will not interfere with each other.
