We have a user that's concerned about the security of Screenconnect, in particular the Mac client.
Apparently their concern is that it pops up a warning from Gatekeeper that the client is not digitally signed.
Any details on this?

So, which mac package displays this error? Is it the one downloaded when Joining a Support session (as a Guest or Host) or the Access client installer (what you create from the Access tab on the Host page)?

It was the access client installer, we are on version 6.1.

Ah, perfect, thanks for clarifying that. Right now, the Mac Access client installer is not digitally signed (as you've seen). This is because when we create it, we pass it all of the different customizations that have been made for the client (app.config, icons, etc). The manner in which we do this changes the physically installer which means that our code signature would no longer be valid since the file's hash no longer matches the hash its expecting.

We are, however, actively investigating different ways to accomplish this though because we acknowledge that walking a less-technical person through installing via Gatekeeper can be frustrating. I suggest create a request on our Product Feedback Forum, although you could also just add your vote/comment to this request which appears pretty similar.
