I found instructions on how to restrict limit groups access to one user… I need to be able to leave access to everything except for one group. Meaning I need the user to have access to everything and deny access to only 8 machines within one org. Can this be done? If so then how?

It's not possible directly from the UI, but you can manually add a DENY permission to the Role.xml definitions. There's a writeup for the process here.
