I saw that this question (or feature request) was mentioned in a previous post about 3-4 years ago.
I am a MSP and I maintain my clients in 'unattended' sessions (24x7). Since past chats are maintained in the chat windows until a session ends then 'unattended' sessions can have accumulated chat dialogs that can go back for months. This can be confusing and can be a privacy issue on guest systems that have multiple users.
Is there a known date or release version when 'Deleting Chat History' will be available, either on-demand or automatically after a 'remote access' session?
Until this feature is available then is there a procedure to manually purge chat history?

To my knowledge this particular enhancement request is not currently scheduled to be added, but I can add a +1 to its priority on your behalf.
Also, as a potential workaround in the meantime, you can try Restarting the Guest client service to clear the contents of the client Chat window. This will briefly disconnect the client, but it should come back within a few seconds. |
