I have created Session Groups based on CustomProperty2. It is set to "type". For instance, I have a couple servers that have CustomProperty2 = 'Desktop'. I then created a security role called "Desktop Access". People in that role only see the associated machines. This is great. However, they also seem to have the permission to change that property. If they edited it, they would lose access. Even worse, though unlikely, is the nefarious potential for multiple users to conspire to grant access. If Bob can only see Desktop sand Steve can only see Servers, Steve could potentially change the "type" so that Bob could see it. That's all a complex background for a simple question: Can I restrict permissions for Custom Properties? Edited by user Monday, November 12, 2018 6:20:37 PM(UTC)

The EditSession permission allows Hosts to change Session properties. You can remove that permission from the Role(s) which would prevent them from modifying it. This would also prevent them from changing other properties related to that session (such as Name). |

Awesome, thanks. Not sure why, but when I saw that permission I was thinking like quality settings, etc.
