I know, I can change the settings in firefox to "disable hardware acceleration", then, I will be again able to remotely view Firefox. But it is really meant to work like this?

Kaspersky: is there any way to overcome this problem?

Thanks.

Hi!

I'm facing the same problem with lot's of applications...
Firefox, Chrome, Comodo Firewall, etc....

I think this is related to Computers that have more than one graphics card.

I have only one Notebook that this happens and that one has 2 graphics card for games.

It's an HP Omen 17-W206NP (it has the onboard graphics card and the Nvidia 1050)

So when apps use the Nvidia to accelerate things the ScreenConnect can't retrieve those areas because it's outside the graphic card that is sending images to ScreenConnect and because of that the area of those applications window show blank.

I only find this happening on this computer.

Is this solvable?

Thanks

What version of Control are you using? Are you connecting to the guest via an access session?

I tested for this behavior by connecting to an HP Spectre laptop with dual integrated/nvidia (940MX) graphics -- applications explicitly set to use the nvidia gpu (and those that aren't) were displayed properly in the session. I had connected to the machine via an access session using the 6.5.16127 client.

Hi!

I'm using the latest stable 6.4.15787.6556

I'm connecting via Access session.

I tried to use UltraVNC and this works well.

Thanks

Hi!

Let me update my information....

This only happens when my screen e closed (closed lid). With the screen opened i can see the windows contents (Firefox, Chrome, Comodo...).

I can see the desktop, and other applications, but some others i can't.

As i test further i think this is something about not having a monitor active in the computer.

Maybe because the screen is closed and there is no external monitor connected the system doesn't know where to show the applications windows contents and so because of that some items aren't showed on the screen and on ScreenConnect?

What could be related to this behavior?

Thanks

I have a lot of Intel NUC systems running headless, and each time I connect to one of them, I'm met with a black screen. I have to manually "wake" them from screen-sleep mode by connecting, clicking within the window, then pressing a key. (I usually use arrow right, to avoid sending a keystroke to any open windows) Setting SC to automatically acquire a wake lock didn't help.

I don't know if that is your problem, but you might give it a try.
