I was on a guest session and wanted to install ScreenConnect.ClientSetup on his computer. The File Trnasfer options were grayed out. His O/S is Windows Ultimate.

Thanks, Norm

Can you verify that your Role has the TransferFilesInSession permission on the Security tab in the Administration page?

Can you drag-and-drop a file to this machine? Also, are you able to execute any tools from the Toolbox to this machine?

Lastly, what version of ScreenConnect is running on the server?

I think that the TransferFilesInSession permission may be the problem. I had created a new login and did not include this. I have a "Client Login" which requires clients to grant permission for access. Make connecting my easier for clients. I am wondering if there is anything else that I should be adding for doing service calls. Is there something special that I need to do a reboot? Can't remember if it works.

Thanks, Norm

Off the top of my head, I don't believe Rebooting requires any special permissions but it's tough to say which other permissions you may want to grant. TransferFilesInSession is probably a pretty good one to let them have, but it's up to you. You can see a full breakdown of the available permissions on our KB, here.
