Sometimes a guest just simply needs a nudge in the right direction. An expanded Screenshot will allow you to take a quick look at their system without having to connect to the machine. After the extension is installed, you'll see a button below the screenshot on the Host page to expand the image.

This extension is now available in the online extension Library for installation.

Readme Notes: After installing the extension, one additional step is required in order for it to function.

*Before attempting any web.config modifications, make sure you have an up-to-date backup of your ScreenConnect installation.

1. On the ScreenConnect server, open the web.config file (C:\Program Files (x86)\ScreenConnect\web.config on Windows and /opt/screenconnect/web.config on Linux and Mac).

2. Find the following two settings:

3. Change the value of those two settings to something larger, I recommend setting them to:
<add key="GuestScreenshotMaxScalePercent" value="60" />
<add key="GuestScreenshotMaxPixelCount" value="1000000" />

4. Save the changes.

Great tip! I've set these values and it looks so much better.

Would there be a way to add the 'Update Guest Info' to the popup? This way it would refresh without having to click up, update, then expand again. How about only seeing one monitor in the expanded so that we can choose which monitor to have a screenshot of? (3 monitors tends to still have it too small to read.)
