ok

which version of quick support you are using. if you are using v. 3 with zip installer try with Msi installer.

currently i do not have sc4.3 deployed. if you continue to face problem with msi. i will deploy v4.3 in test enviroment to check the working of app

I used the MSI when I first installed it. I removed that version and ran the zip version and I get the same error.

Just to elaborate on the warning in the first thread...

AccessTokens are required to join a session as the host. Anyone in possession of a valid token can control any machine in the SC installation.

I would advise against using the current version in production until Arvind (reach2rv) has applied a fix.

Will test with SC 4.3 and update accordingly.

Tested works with latest version of SC i.e 4.3.6466

I believe you have not changed "var clpString = ClientLaunchParameters.ToQueryString(clp, true);" to "var clpString = ClientLaunchParameters.ToQueryString(clp);" in both guestsession.ashx and javasession.ashx

I have already written those in OP that I have made it for v 4.1 for v 4.2 and above you need to change this parameter.

Kindly check and revert.

Great Tool! I got it working.

Anyway to have the Join Session Tab default to the first spot and New Session would be in the 2nd spot?
Many receive advice, only the wise profit from it.

Hi there,

This is a great tool, but I run my site using my SSL port. Could you tell me how to specify my URL using HTTPS? I tried to do it myself, but I get the following error:

This is exactly what I've been looking for. Did you get the version uploaded that allows connecting with HTTPS?

Also there's a typo - on New Session clicking the quick connect button with no name the error messages shows "Name is requierd"

Check OP for download v 3.1

you need to check "USE SSL" check box while entering host url at first run.

Kindly check and revert as we do not use SSL, its not fully tested.

Would love this to be an extension in 5.0 or an updated app for our clients.
Would be cool we could have just a downloadable exe that does not need to be installed. :)

But I'm also having the 500 error problem. And I've modified the files as suggested.

There are two ways for Guests to initiate sessions that have been implemented in 5.0. One is on the Guest page and another is a Guest-side desktop client which works similarly to how you describe above.

Hi Scott.
Actually we are evaluating Screenconnect to replace our GoToAssist contracts.

Where can I test the guest-side client ?
Is this client a "stand-alone" EXE or must I install it on customers PC ?

I simple exe for our customers have the highest priority for us !!
