The default consent is:

"Your host '{0}' would like remote control of your computer. Your consent is required to proceed."

I've changed it in ConsentHostLabelFormat, but my custom text doesn't show up when joining.

Same is true of button texts.

On the Guest machine where you are testing this, have you forced the propagation of the new settings?

If it's an Access session, you do that by Reinstalling the Access client from the Host page.

If it's a Support session, you'll want to ensure that the ClickOnce cache has been flushed. You can do that by running the following command on the remote machine when you do not have any ScreenConnect application windows open:


rundll32 dfshim CleanOnlineAppCache
