Hi. Actually we are evaluating Screenconnect.
Out highest priority for a supporttool is that our customers can easy join a session. Our customers a non technicals and some of them are really happy if they switch the PC on and it really starts ;-)
So for that the "normal" way which looks like:
- open Browser - navigate to screenconnect - join a session
is not easy enough.
While evaluating I have found several, easy ways to join a session.
Because there are actually no topics in this forum about this, I ask me why ?
Have screenconnect any problems with this informations or can I publish them here ? Perhaps screenconnect can make a blogpost with the informations for later evaluaters like me which do not want to use a website.
Sorry for the bad english, hope you understand what I mean.

You are more than welcome to publish any insights you have to connecting to sessions. We have over the phone and email tried our best to answer these types of questions but do not have good documentation online. About a week ago I asked one of my colleagues to create a new help article that outlined all of our different connection methods including some of the new ones in Beta and the ones that include extensions, 3rd party integrations, batch files, etc. I expect this will go live on our Help site in a few days.
But please feel free to post here your thoughts and ideas, they are much appreciated.

It would be awesome if you do share what has been working for you.
I also have customers that are in their late 70s and 80s and it is fairly hard for them to connect. Specially when a random antivirus decides to stop the file from being download (the installation file).
So it would be nice if there is a simpler way (still, not really sure what that might be lol).
So please do share the ways that you have found.
Thanks!

Just started another thread that might be relevant for you too: "How to instruct ScreenConnect via URL to create a new session, send an invite via email and auto-join". So this can all be done by clicking a single URL (which is often easy to implement in 3d party ITSM tools for example). http://forum.screenconne...mail-invite-via-URL.aspx
