I am running ScreenConnect on Debian x64. When I attempt to send an email for a support request I receive this error: 451 Requested action aborted: error in processing. I am using a relay server setup. My relay server uses IP security to allow relay. The ScreenConnect server is allowed to relay. I am able to send email from the ScreenConnect server through the relay via a telnet session to port 25.


I figured it out.

I had to remove everything but the host and port from the network tag in the web.config file.

Once the user=”” and password=”” were gone it worked.
