We have a self-hosted Control installation that's having a weird issue when we attempt to access to config via the Advanced configuration editor.

When clicking on any of the items under web configuration, we are greeted with the following error:

"An item with the same key has already been added"

Error

There doesn't seem to be an issues with the web config file.

I did upgrade the installation to the latest stable release (6.9). When I performed the install there was a message about files being modified that weren't upgradable.

Please advise. I am worried about there being possible issues with our web.config file. I modified it yesterday to enable auto update of agents and that doesn't seem to be taking.

are you sure there's no duplicate values in the web.config file?

I think this was the ticket I was just looking at with our Support team and just incase anyone else comes across this problem, there was a duplicate setting within appSettings.

Admittedly pretty hard/obnoxious to find, the file itself isn't super easy to read.

Actually, there were TWO duplicate settings within appSettings.

I was able to find this by using NotePad++. When I selected properties, it highlighted duplicates. I was able to locate an additional duplicate with this method.

This actually fixed a few other minor issues we were having with our installation, so I am pretty excited BigGrin

Thanks for all of the help!
