Good Day,

Issue: We have several of our users who use ScreenConnect to connect to remote systems and then they stay logged into those remote systems.

Proposal 1: I would like to create a Session Event Trigger to email a manager when an Access session has a logged on user who's account starts with "xyz." has gone idle for 6 hours, 24 hours, greater then 48 hours.

Proposal 2: A second Session Event trigger to email a manager when an Access Session has had a host connected for 6 hours, 24 hours, or greater then 48 hours.

I am having difficulty in creating this trigger and your help is appreciated.

So what you're trying to accomplish is technically possible but its not really possible to implement it with a Trigger. Right now, Triggers can only react to specific events and they can't be set to just run every x seconds/minutes to check for state.

In theory you could write an Extension that contains methods which call into the Session Manager API to perform the checks you are looking for. You would have to use an outside application of somekind to invoke the methods (a scheduled task and/or cronjob for example) at whatever intervals you desire.
