Hi everyone,

I'm testing ScreenConnect using a free account.

I'm not familiar with the terminology yet, so bear with me :)

1) I was connected to the remote computer but the remote screen had gone fullscreen somehow?

How do I get back to just a window?

2) To try and fix this I ended the Session in Access online.

Apparently this permanently deletes the Session, ie uninstalls ConnectWise on the Remote Machine?

How do I end a session normally?, ie stop remoting in without deleting the session?

3) I tried to re-install the software on the remote machine but it won't do so?

How do i re-intall?

Many thanks, Martin

On the remote machine, try Uninstalling the client software (like from Programs and Features) and then reinstalling it. Does that allow the client to callback?

1- You get full screen when you drag the windows to the top of the screen. Instead, try to resize it just dragging it from the edge of sc windows, slowly. To come back from full screen, go with the mouse to the middle-top area of the screen, control icons will appear to get back to normal.
2-Saddly, if you ended it, as far as I know, it not only end your side, it will remove the software on the remote pc. You can END but keep the sesion IF you are connected thru a TEMP connection/session/invitation. Not an installed one. When you close the temp connection, it will ask you if you want to keep the temp/session in your console.
3-Depend on the version you have, it should be easy to remove the software from windows like any other software, I did have problems on v.5.5, and I don't remember how I fixed it, not in the normal way, I believe removing registries and such.
Let us know if this helped you.
