Windows 10 Home version 1709 build 16299.192
I had Screenconnect (ver 6.5?) installed on one of my computers during trial period. Trial period expired, and I uninstalled it in process of licensing my Connectwise Standard Account. Realized afterwards that was probably not necessary, BUT as far as I can recall, when presented with "End or Uninstall Session" prompt, chose "End Only", because I was going to come back to it. Unfortunately, I am now either unable to install at all, or I get errors from windows.
1. Another installation is in progress (there wasn't)
2.The ScreenConnect Client started and then stopped...
3. on a previous attempt, got no response at all from computer

I have also tried connecting by a regular Support Session (which worked) and then tried installing from the Connectwise Control panel
Currently, the Windows Control Panel shows completed installation from earlier today, and the Service shows in the Windows Services list. The Service is set to start automatically, but doesn't. If I click on 'Start Service'it starts and then stops immediately.

I am not running Norton :-)
I have Malwarebytes Pro installed and running. It was there before the original install on that computer, and did not interfere.

Any ideas appreciated.

Problem solved on that issue!
Essentially, I beat it to death...
