Hello Guys,

Is it possible to hide "ScreenConnect Client" from Add/Remove Programs (Programs and Features)?

To my knowledge it is not possible to hide this Entry from the Programs and Features panel. In theory you may be able to use a program like orca or super orca to modify the msi and change how it appears but that would be an unsupported modification.

You can run the following command to obtain the information you need to run the follow up commands.

reg query "HKCR\Installer\Products" /s /f ScreenConnect

That will locate the product key within the installed programs listing. From the result of that you can use either of the following to alter/remove it where {GUID} is the result of the prior command (without brackets)

reg add "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products\{GUID}" /v ProductName /t reg_sz /d "New Name Here" /f

That will rename the product in the installed programs listing

reg delete "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products\{GUID}" /va /f

The command above will remove said item from the program listing, however it would be considered a dirty hack method of doing so, and is likely to not be approved, but works in a pinch.
