Advanced Configuration Editor

Requires ConnectWise Control versions 6.4+.
Please note that changing web.config settings via this extension will restart your Control services.

I'm happy to announce the release of the ConnectWise Control Advanced Configuration Editor extension. The extension adds a configuration tab to an instance's admin page, which breaks down app.config and web.config settings into a number of subsections:

Each settings page highlights which app.config or web.config settings have been changed from their default value:

Click on the "Restore Defaults" link at the bottom of any page to restore all depicted settings to their default value.

Once you've updated settings, click "Save & Apply" to activate the changes:

Please refer to the following ConnectWise Control documentation for a full explanation of all app.config and web.config settings (note that not all settings are configurable via the Advanced Configuration Editor extension):

Version 1.0.1 of the Advanced Configuration Editor extension has been released to the Extension Marketplace.

Change log:
1) Added "Restrict to IP Addresses" configuration to Web Configuration > Page Settings section
2) Added caution text to "Restrict to IP Addresses" configuration item and Bitmask Settings page; these settings affect more advanced functionality, and care should be taken before saving changes to them
