I was reconsidering using Azure to host ScreenConnect rather than my local setup as they now support multiple IP addresses.

Does anyone know which of the new Virtual Machines I should use or do I stick with a (classic) VM running Windows Server 2012 R2?

I have around 40 clients to support and am planning to have 3 host connections so the resources should be pretty light.

For that kind of usage you don't need much. Using the Azure guide here, you would probably be able to get away with .75GB RAM for up to 3 concurrent sessions. We typically say that .5GB RAM is the absolute minimum for 1-3ish concurrent sessions.

A single core processor should also be sufficient for the server profile you described above.
