Your server must be running version 4.4 to directly update to version 5.0.

You can update from 3.1 or higher directly to 4.4 and then to 5.0.

For versions older than 3.1 the upgrade path would be 2.1->2.5->3.1->4.4->5.0. (Please contact support for information on installation files)

It is a best practice to upgrade Unattended clients along with server upgrades and always make a backup of your ScreenConnect directory.
