In anticipation of Google ending support for ClickOnce applications in Chrome we have added a new connection method in v5.0 called the WindowsSelector. Once installed, this will run on your host machine and make joining sessions faster regardless of your browser.

To use this method, click the "Windows[6-X]" link at the bottom of the Join Session dialog, and then choose the WindowsSelector.

Version 5.0 is currently available as a pre-release with an expected release in the very near future.

Working Good so far!

I figured out where to disable this message? "Suggestion: Install the ClickOnce Helper extension to enable instant session joining."

But how do I disable the yellow bar behind the message from coming up?

Not really a way of doing it from inside the application currently, but it has been removed in a new pre-release build of 5.0 which should be posted shortly.

Yes, the new WindowsSelector works well so far... it seems even quicker than ClickOnce on my system.

The new WindowSelector works well, thank you! Unfortunately though it doesn't seem to remember the menus i have pinned to the right side, which is pretty annoying. Hopefully this is just temporary?

Sorry, its been a long day. Can you help with exactly what problem you are having. You say its not remembering the menus that were pinned? Which menus? Thanks in advance.

The menus i like to pin are View, Miscellaneous, Messages and Status, but i've just been through and tried pinning individual ones and it still resets it so i don't have anything pinned everytime i open a session via WindowSelector. This was on 5.0.7607 yesterday, and still the case on 5.0.7669 today.
